Can anyone share their experience with the Transcendent Sound preamp? I think I've outgrown my 4play and now I'm looking for something a little better in kit form.

Never heard the unit before, but soundstage.com did a review of it several years back. Not sure if you've seen this yet.

I've heard the Transcendent, A/B'ed alongside some other popular mid line preamps from a competing small boutique company, and it absolutely devastated them. I could find no fault at all in it. It was simply more open, dynamic, and vibrant with better coherency and detail. I'd dare say you won't be a bit disappointed with it.
