I am looking for an amp to drive my b&w nautilus 805.

I am making decsion between moon w5p5 and the AR vs110 sp16.

Both amp give good sound, AR is a bit more open and clearer.

However the look of the AR is very poor compared to the moon.

ALso how long does the AR has to warm up in each time before it can sing because the moon has its standby mode which the manufacturer claims that this will keep the amp ready to perform at its best at all time.

Please give me comments on both amp..

Do you know URL's for AudioResearch and Moon? I'd like to have a look.

Audio Research makes some really nice equipment, just a little pricey for me. (and I wish they would get away from those KT88 & equivalent tubes) Their new SP16 preamp sounds unbelieveably true and natural.
