Coudnt find port as per plans so used some correctly sized i have had lying around for years.
I finished Them with red autolacker that matches the fabric on my soffit basstraps.

So after Having used Them for a week as main speakere both for movies and music this is my thoughts about the pi1.

Fabulous value for the money spent...
They are by no means sublime in any region, but are coherent, male voices has Enoughf body, female voices arent schrichy despite Being a speaker thats a bit bright sounding. It seems like it could use a bit more distance to lisening position than i Can give Them for optimal soundstage.
It Can handle a good volume, but sounds stressed at reference level when set as large speaker in preamp.
I have not yet lisened to Them with subwoofers, they Will benifit alot from subwoofers but i have enjoyed Them emensly without so far(messing some omph as expected).

In a small hometheater like mine(13,5x 11,5 feet) i would not hesitate in doing a 7 pi1 + subwoofers system, that is actually what im gonna do, Well actually it Will be 6.4! My plan was making pi7's as fronts this winter but im very pleased with pi1right now so Will make more of those.. But in time i Will still build pi7:)

Thank you for your Big contribution to the diy people Wayne Smile
