We were listening to the radio today in the car. Regular, old fashioned radio, and it occurred to me that all the stuff that we listen to is old stuff from my teens. My kids listen to nothing that is popular today.

Are other households the same, has the drop in popularity of radio encouraged the single genre of music within a household?

Hi, I guess we are more typical. I listen to older stuff, and newer jazz. The kids are all into current stuff with the grand kids really into the newest of all. Shocked

Good Listening

Well, other than new country everything I like to listen too comes on the oldies station. I have to say I was quite shocked to realize that I was "old" at the ripe old age of 34! Laughing

I suspect that I'm prematurely old too, but the stuff I hear today is just awful! I guess every generation has said that at some point though!
