There seems to be an increasing number and type of devices that run using bluetooth. I'm not familiar with how the technology works. Would audio sent this way sound as good as wired music?

I don't see why there would be a difference in the quality of the sound. I mean, as long as you are near enough to completely transmit the signal, it should be the same as that transmitted via wire, surely?

I have a pair of Bluetooth headphones and they sound good other than volume limitations. They're a rather inexpensive pair as far as it goes, so they don't get as loud as I'd like. Quality is spot on, though.
