Would anyone know how to rig something up to where external lights can "strobe" in sync to music playing from a stereo? It can be to the beat of the drums, the rhythm of the bass or other things like that.

Hi, There are numerous sound to light devices. Check out the "pro" equipment sites for some. They can be very simple ones to extremely complex (and thus costly). I believe that there are still a few kits around. Some will do only LEDs though.
