I'm looking for good quality headphones for a teenager. He likes to listen to his music, games and podcasts really loud and at night. Noise cancellation would be good for my sanity and I'm thinking if they are better quality maybe he won't play it as loud.

Bose makes noise-reducing headphones in either earbud or over the ear styles. They are quite pricey, more than what I would want to pay for my teenager.
