There are some great movies out there being released everyday, and it seems like each movie has better special effects than the last. However, 80's movies are still my favorites, because the 80's were the heyday of the music montage.

What are some of your 80's movie favorites?

For me, it would have to have been "Purple Rain". I also liked Prince's "Under the Cherry Moon" - maybe even more than "Purple Rain". However, I was disappointed with his "Graffiti Bridge".
