Do you think BluRay discs are worth the extra money? Are they really that much better?

Yes, definitely. I tried them and compared to the old type of CD's and so far, so good.

Absolutely, much better. Night and day. Not only is the video higher resolution but the audio quality is better too.

Don't skimp on the player though. The media is definitely better but as time passes, players will begin to get cheaper and cheaper, which is a good thing in and of itself but I suspect the quality will slip.
