Does anyone else like nature sounds when they wake up? I have an alarm clock where I can use the option of setting the alarm to various sounds of nature; like waterfalls or a rain forest.

I like nature sounds but generally use them for falling asleep rather than waking up.

We moved a few months ago and now I can hear the ocean from my house. That's pretty sweet. Smile

audioaudio90 - I would love to live near the ocean and be able to hear the sound of the waves from my house!

Azuri - I like to hear birds chirping when I wake up, but I'm talking about actual birds - not an alarm clock or CD. Wink I do use one of those sound machines to help me get to sleep at night, though.

I use nature sounds to go to sleep sometimes. Falling rain and ocean sounds are my favorites. I've fallen asleep to bird song (real birds) too, which was nice.

Hi I have one of those funky clocks too. About 25 sounds to choose from. The elephant trumpeting is good for Monday mornings. Now that I have been retired for about two years it no longer matters. I still wake up (without an alarm) at 6AM.

Good Listening

Laughing That would make me feel like I'm in Africa. I'd get up all disoriented looking for my musket.

I've never had one of those clocks so I think I'm putting it on my Christmas wish list.

I wouldn't mind having one of those alarm clocks myself. To the OP, where did you get your clock from? I'd like to have one that had a bird setting on it, so that I could wake up to the sound of birds chirping. Smile

Hi I don't recall where the "elephant one" came from (I'll have to dig it out to see what brand it is), but another one is from Sharper Image that has lots of sounds.

Good Listening
