How do you discover new radio stations when they show up in your area? I just found a decent one I really like because someone had tuned it in at a pool party.

Sometimes a new station will be advertised around town, but mostly I guess it's good luck or chance, as in your case. I sometimes discover different stations becuase friends listen to them. They're not new to the area, just to me.

Since I like different types of music, I find myself randomly turning the dial every once in a while. Do that often enough and you will find a new station when it comes around.
