I wear an MP3 at work as much as I can and my ear buds always lose sound after a month or two of use. Can anyone recommend a good, long lasting set of ear buds that will hold up longer than 3 months?

What kind of budget do you have? Are you set on buds or open to other ideas? Personally I prefer headphones, though I know that's not always possible if you are wearing them at work.

That is very strange; even when I use the cheap ear buds that come with my player, they last longer than that.

If you are looking in the cheap range, there is always Skullcandy.

It depends on your price range. If you are looking for EXTREMELY cheap ear buds, try eBay. You can get ear buds for $.99 or less, if you are lucky.

I would say that e-bay is the way to go as well. Some of those sellers have so much of something that their prices are unbelievable. Check the seller rating before you commit to anything though and look for Skull candy. Those really are the best.

I have the same problem. I won't wear earphones - they are just too big and bulky. I usually buy Skullcandy earbuds but they don't last. I keep buying cheap ones from WalMart. I have yet to find a pair that last a long time.

Let's chat!

I have a pair of Samsung ear buds that have lasted me for at least a couple of years now. I think they actually came with a cell phone that I bought, but I'm sure you could find a pair just like them through Samsung's website.
