Wayne,

I'm toying with the idea of 7PIs VS the 4PIs I was planning to build... Can I get the 7PI plans?

PS - Do the 7PIs reach down lower Bass wise VS the 4PIs?

Thanks,
Andy

Bass response of the seven π cornerhorns is the same as the four π speakers. What's different is the behaviour of sound at frequencies above midbass. The corner loading of the woofer and the midhorn prevent any self-interference from nearby boundaries, so no flanking subs are necessary. You may still want to use more distant multisubs to smooth the deeper bass range, but the upper midbass and midrange are very smooth. Additional information follows:
Please decide which you prefer sevens or fours and let me know. I'll send plans if you decide to build constant directivity cornerhorns.

Ahh, ok.

I have the JBL 2226H, B&C 250 and the Eminence horns and have been planning to build the 4 pi. These will be sitting in the front corners of a room....

I do have 2 subwoofers so that is in the thought process. I could use theses with the 4 PI and 7 PI. I have a big room.

I was starting to think about just going for the full on 7PI instead of the 4PI. I read a post where a guy had done both the 4PI and 7PI and he liked the 7PI better.

Can I get the plans for the 7PI?
