Do you try to restore scratched CDs or DVDs? What do you normally do and how well has it worked for you?

I generally don't bother but I don't really know what to do anyway.

Novus plastic polish will get very fine "haze" or "spider" scratches out, but for deeper ones take your disc to a video game store, or one of the larger music/books/video stores. They have a machine that'll get all but the really deep scratches out; generally for only about 3 or 4 dollars per disc.
