Do you ever notice you pay more attention to random sounds than other people do?

I was pushing a shopping cart across the parking lot yesterday and commented on the bass rumble it made (along with the normal rattle); my husband didn't notice it until I said something.

That's funny, I thought I was the only one who was untra sensitive to sounds. I also notice that most sounds make music to me. Like if I am in the car and it's raining, the wipers, rain, and general car sound make one song. Its weird and hard to explain. Very Happy

You're definitely not the only one LeeLee, I know exactly what you mean about the windshield wipers. One time I was out with a few friends at the store, and I said the rhythm of the receipt being printed sounded like music from South Park. They thought it was random and funny, but once I mentioned it they knew what I meant.
