I have a used pair of AKG 702 headphones, that have a tendency for over bright midrange. I am thinking of doing a cabling job myself, but not sure whether I should go with silver or copper cabling? Which produces the best sound quality?

That is a hotly contested question. Some swear that copper yields a better bass sound, but others think there is no difference in sound.

I think the material makes less difference than factors like shielding.
