Hey; Bobby D made a statement calling all modern music; "Atrocious" and "Rubbish" He says all the songs sound the same with no historical perspective and bad eq. He says they have" Sound all over them but no music."
You may not like Bob but he has talent.

I've liked Dylan ever since he did Subteranean Homesick Blues as the 60's began. He's right about most modern music.

Well, there is the difference - HE can say it. No need for further explanations.

Thats one you didn't have to post; I know it by heart. How about Desolation Row or Just Like Tom Thumbs Blues?
Dylan is a monument.
Even the quiet songs; Simple Twist Of Fate; a masterpiece.

I was just talking with someone last night about Dylan's
Shooting Star. Anyone ever notice how gloomy that song is...
or was I just in a pensive mood?

I have a lot of respect for that man and he is a great songwriter but at the same time his music isn't my cup of tea.
