Just out of curiosity I was wondering what other people played on there speakers the first time they hooked them up. I like anything from Etta James to Guns and Roses and everything in between from blues to easy listening.
So lets hear it folks what was the first song you played or the one song you couldn't wait to hear on you new speakers. Or what was the one that blew you away? Rolling Eyes

The first CD - actually a SACD - I played was Jimmy D Lane's 2004 album "It's Time." Great sounding blues record recorded to audiophile standards (in a good way not sterile and crappy) by APO Records.

Sounded fantastic!

Second album was Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here, also great!

It was Stevie's band. Awesome album, Jimmy D Lane is the son of Jimmy Rogers - one of the original Chicago blues legends who showed Muddy Waters around Chicago when Muddy first arrived from Mississippi.
