Nearing completion on these sealed 2Pi Tower-like speakers and wondering about stuffing. Classic way is Dacron or (expensive) long-fiber wool...what about rigid fiberglass like Owens-Corninbg 604 I have on hand in 1" and 2" thicknesses or good 'ole R-13?

The rigid fiberglass is definitely out but other stuffing might work. You know how it is, this part is largely empirical. I mean, you can calculate losses through the material and you can model where the nodes fall. That kind of thing helps a great deal. But you really can't beat making a physical model and checking it out. That's where the rubber hits the road.
