Are you asking for any audio gear for Christmas? I used to, but now that I have all the cheaper audio gear, I don't feel comfortable asking for expensive stuff I want.

I got a powered 150watt PA speaker early because I needed it for a gig. It has two TS or XLR inputs and a line in stereo input. 5-band EQ. The massive heatsink says "class a" to me, but I could be wrong.

It's pretty nice. I also got all my old junk out of storage, which was better than Xmas presents.

Not audio really, but I'd love to see a new one of these under the tree!!!
American Deluxe with the V neck. Wish they made it with a rosewood fingerboard though.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!

I'd settle for a Rega 3 just to get me started.

And a Dynavector 20X cartridge, Sutherland Ph3D phono preamp, and Santa, please don't forget a dust cover for the turntable.

FYI, yeah I was wrong. Still Class A/B. Sad

I'm happy with it for gigging purposes, but something is not right with it. When I plug the headphones in, the stereo image is separated and should be mono. You know, like with cheap headphones where the image doesn't quite merge into one. I wonder what that could be from.

Sounds like the headphone jack may be wired out of phase.

I don't think it is the wiring Fred, It doesn't have that classic 100% OOP sound. I think the signals are summing improperly causing the phase issue. I chalk it up to comparators having different output values or the tolerances not playing well together.

I'm not all that worried about it considering I don't plan on using the HP jack, but it does raise a red flag on the quality of the other components.
