Someone with an amazing collection of 78's (I conjecture) has burned them onto CD. A company called Allegro Corp. has dozens of compilations of recordings from the 20's, 30's and 40's. All with original artists and many live.
I bought "Toast To Broadway", a 2CD set. One disc is all Irving Berlin and the other Cole Porter. An astounding $6.99 at the bookstore.
Artie Shaw, Judy Garland, Dick Haymes, Peggy Lee, Bing, Frankie, Mel, Lena, Ella; you get the idea.
Eevry cut sounds great. Even the Al Jolson and Marlene Dietrich that must have been shellacs.
Skeezix!!!

That's pretty cool, Bill. Thanks for the tip!
