Call me old fashioned ( I also have to temp disable the pop-up blocker) but I prefer to use the few tags I know for pix and URLs and stuff. I tried the {code} icon but it didn't do it.

I hear you, Bill. I'm used to HTML too, so this new forum has been hard for me to get used to.

Play around with it a bit - It does have icons to make things easier. The icon that looks like a world lets you insert a link, the one with the little red graphic inserts a picture. You can upload pics too, so you no longer have to host them somewhere else - you can just upload here. But I still sort of like the old way, guess that makes me old fashioned too.

You can also type in the code yourself rather than depend on the icon buttons, just like we used to do with HTML in the old forum. That's how I do it. Here's a page that shows the new tags (which are used on a lot of messageboards these days):
