Those of you that were at the 2009 Lone Star Audiofest will remember the large electrostatic speakers displayed by Crescendo Systems. I was most impressed by the fact that they sounded good over a fairly wide pattern, not the typical single pinpoint spot that most electrostats do. Another thing is they are DIY panels, which is interesting since there are few DIY electrostat options. There will no doubt be many interesting discussions in the new Crescendo Systems forum, here at ART.
