Illuminati (2nd Degree)
Came today along with "Taj Mahal","Satch meets Josh" and Elvis Costello "Blood and Chocolate".
A few words about the astounding service from DCC Blowout Better REcords. Huge selection which includes these non-Audiophile originals at 6 and 7 bucks each and sent media mail for $5 from the left coast in less than a week.
That said, the Joni Mitchell is the best thing to EVER grace my turntable. Wellll.....at least in the top 5. "Hejira" foreshadows this pairing but her guitar and Jaco Pastorious Bass here is just sublime. You think of electric bass as just that, elctric. But Pastorious gets TONE and BODY out of it, not to mention the incredible SLAM that had my 2226's just wailing!
My neighbors must think I'm watching Jurassic Park!

Master
Yup, "Don Juan's..." is a great album! Glad to see you got "Blood and Chocolate", too - Costello is always good, if not VERY good I'm still counting beans to see if I can afford going to one of his concerts here in the beginning of June - it's been almost 3 years since the last time.
