Their list was as follows with the Greatest American being number one.

5. Benjamin Franklin
4. George Washington
3. Martin Luther King
2. Abraham Lincoln
1. Ronald Reagan

Not quite sure I would have put Martin Luther King ahead of Washington and Franklin but what do I know?

With one clown already at No 1 they probably didn't want to be redundant.

Patheticly vivid demonstration of typical American stupidity. I suppose the "Put Reagan on Rushmore" crowd just bombed the voting to make it turn out that way.

But how in the world did Jefferson miss the cut? FDR?

Just so discouraging.

Interesting interview on CNN. With Rhenquist looking weak they have a groundswell of public opinion on what to look for from the next appointment. The guy from the Heritage Foundation claims the Conservatives want the abortion maniacs put on the back burner. They say there are so many economic issues to be decided in the near future that they don't want a choice based on the anti-abortion platform to trump an economic conservatist. They're tired of one issue jurist litmus tests.
Finally some intelligence from the right side.
