Well; that is one guy you ain't gonna push around I see. As governor he authorises 150 mil$ for stem cell research the day after the veto by ----- ----. Do you think he resents a fool meddling in medical issues that should be left to proffesionals?
Once again we screw the people because hey; as a rich guy we can just fly on over to Europe and get treated for our medical complaints; it's the middle class and poor who are stuck here suffering. I want to see what ----- ---- would do if he had Parkinsons or any other disease that could be managed with this new treatment protocol? Of course he would stick to his principals and refuse the life-saving treatment if it was offered; right?

Well, before the advent of all those synthetic drugs, and all of that high-tech movies and games - kids were happy with "Conan" and anti-parkinsonics, like "Parkopan"...if I remember correctly...

Maybe kids were happy with those things but adults aren't.
Parkopan is a generic brand of Amantodine that is specifically manufactured and sold in the eastern bloc countries. It acts as a nueroleptic that targets only specific movement disorders and is even then only slightly effective on a portion of patient outcomes and also decreases in effectiveness over time.
There are many treatments for the symptoms of Parkinsons and most are only marginally effective taken in concordance with L-Dopa drugs. But the only promising therapy that would address the whole symptom range of the disease and even reverse the effects is possible Stem Cell protocols.
Now tell me how a living breathing person should die to save an embryo that is slated for destruction? And why we must wait for this funding until the ---- ---- leaves office since the funding will be approved as soon as he is gone. How many lives will be lost in that space of time from the interference of the hypocritical liers who will jump on the first plane to Europe to save their own asses when they get sick..

It seems to me that you experience politics, sickness, drugs, life and death too seriously...try something else...
But you are right that Parkopan and similar things are not that fine and fancy...especially mixed with alcohol...
