Hi all,

Looking at the PRO12-A for use in compact two way. Any opinions would be great.

Thanks,

Scott

Hi, I've used a pair of these for a guitar cab for a mesa boogie amp with great results. Based on plans from Shavano music. It so happens they have plans for a 2-way design pro monitor if your interested.

I looked through the plans at the link and that looks like it would work just fine. One thing though, the tweeter circuit would probably be improved by adding CD equalization. The one shown at the Shavano site just has simple padding with no compensation for the compression driver's mass rolloff. So maybe after building the box like shown at the Shavano site, use a crossover similar to what's in the three π loudspeaker.
