What is the Bass response on a 1980 Lascala ??? To me it sounds like it drops
off rapidly after 90 hertz . Thanks for your reply Wayne. Are you up on this type of folded horn.

You're right, they don't do much below 60Hz. They're cool looking but have some acoustic warts.

The new Lascala made by Klipsch has been re-voiced using crossover tweaks. Aftermarket xovers by others can accomplish the same result on older LS. Basically, they tighten the slopes, notch out resonances, and lower the MF and HF to bring out the bass better.

I already have made the bass mod, and it adds a truck load of bass to the LaScalas. Without the bass mod the speakers by themself are good for P.A.only in my book . And I have knocked the midhorn down about 4-5 Db. Thanks for the reply and info.
