Sorry to bother you on this, but what is a good replacement woofer for the bose 301 2008 model??? Will any woofer work in this small of a box? Nobody else seems to know.
Unfortunately the best replacement for your Bose will come from Bose. Yes, the woofers are cheaply made but unless things have changed, they are made specifically for Bose so a generic replacement from another manufacturer will give you an even more unbalanced sound.
If these are 2008 models they are still under warranty for the original owner. If you arent the original owner try calling them and maybe they'll cover the replacement anyway. Good Luck, crazychile
I hope you can buy (a new one) or repair them. In the first case with 2 new drivers (for left/right) you make sure to have the same image in stereo from both, even if they are a little different.
For repairs they are lots of places in the USA/UK/Aust.
