Playing around with Bass Box Pro- A pair of Lab12's modelled in a push-pull sealed enclosure (non-isobaric) gives an spl of about 120db at 800 watts at about 100 hertz and an F3 around 43 hz with a moderately damped enclosure of 2 cubic feet.

How would this system load a room size of 24x24 sq. feet at about 500 watts? Will one do or a pair of the above be necessary for deep punchy and fast bass?

It's definitely a much smaller box. But it also makes much less sound and has higher cutoff. You could make the box a little larger and get lower cutoff. I like that approach. But either way, it's a lot smaller box that is plenty for home hifi use.

Thanks Wayne.
I have completed the 12Pi. Coupled with the 901's it has a huge and thunderous sound stage which stuns everybody into a deafening silence.

Awesome! I'm amazed you put that basshorn in your house! For some reason, I thought it was for a club.

Don't turn it up loud though, or the next picture you post will be of all the stuff vibrated off the shelves down on the floor.
