I just couldn't find R11 or R13 insulation down here. I found 1" fiber glass insulation and I intend to use it for my pi fours. Should I use two layers to approximate the thickness or R11?

Also, in relation with the pi nines. Are they designed with a compensation network for the tweeters or the 2" drivers and horns do not need it.

Thanks,

xavier

ps. Making progress with my pi HT setup. Today and tomorrow I'll put together the crossover networks. I also couldn't find peggged board so I'll mount them on thick corrugated cardboard.

I'd use two sheets of the 1" insulation you found. The 9π tweeter horn won't have passive EQ because it is expected that will be done upstream.

"The 9π tweeter horn won't have passive EQ because it is expected that will be done upstream". You mean the speakers will be triamped? Love that.
