Yes, that's good stuff. I think the Eminence Kilomax series does something similar, with a heat sink placed in front of the driver in addition to air cooling. Seems like I saw JBL was doing something like that too in their latest drivers and a few other companies are using this technique as well. What I've done is to design the cooling plug as an add-on part to be used as an upgrade for existing speakers.
