Hi!

Iàm need of some advice/opinons regarding Theather 4pi and Pro 4pi!
I`am thinking of building one of them but which I don`t know.

The current system is Bob Brines LT-2000(Lowther DX2) construction driven by two monoblock Audion 300B push pull, aprox. 24W.
Iàm happy with this due to the kind of music I àm into(blues, country, rock).

But what I àm looking for now is speakers which handle rock music better(more bass).

I would be grateful for oppinions!

Michael

Rock is actually more midbass than bass and the 4 Pi Pro does very well down to 40hz and lower depending on room conditions.

The 4 Pi Pro is also much smaller cabinet and easier to fit in the room.

My favorite 2-way is the 4 Pi Pro system with Edgarhorns and Altec 902 drivers.

I have run them with single-ended EL34's, 45, 2A3 amps which are all low power tube amps.

When I feel brave, I use my McIntosh MC-240 amp with 40wpc and will blow out the windows and be clean as hell.
