Hi,
sorry, but this is a question from an ignorant:
Can I use a pair of 802-D (811-B horn)16 Ohms Altec compression drivers with a pair of 2226H JBL woofers? In summ, can I use 16 and 8 Ohms drivers together? All this to drive an Audio Note Kit One, 300B SET amp with 8 and 4 Ohms outputs.
Thanks in advance,
Beto.

That makes a very nice combination. Several people here have done exactly that.

Hi Wayne,
Bill told me that I have to use an attenuation matrix. My idea is to build the 4 PI speakers, with 2226H woofer and Eminence tweeter, but in the meantime, some guy offer me this vintage drivers.
Also, this change the enclosure, of course.
Regards,
Beto

I'm sure some of the guys that have systems like that, but in the meantime, here's a list of Altec posts:

Sorry, should add more info.

I used 15 ohm parallel and 30 ohm series w/.47 ufd parallel for the bigger metal horns.

Works quite fine in my mind!

Beto,

I'm using something like that right now - JBL 2446j 2" 16 ohm compression drivers with Eminence Delta Pro-15 8 ohm bass drivers. Less padding is needed on the HF is all.

John
