Is that the BR woofer cabinet size or the height of the stack for the 7 Pi? I.E. how much real estate does the 2245 want?

Not that much Bill. Even at 10 ft3, you would get 20 x 24 x 36 internal or a more conventional box shape would be 24 x 24 x 30 internal.

The bass bin is 46" tall, but then you have the midhorn and tweeter on top of that.

I recall about $271 for one and $351 the other needed re-cone.
I'm sitting here looking at a pair of finished 2 Pi Tower cabs w/o drivers. If they were a little wider and deeper how cool would it be to have 2245 then a 2123 and finally a comp horn on top.

Hey Bill,

That was the first pair auctioned, second pair went for $406 each!

I have a pair of fancy two tone cherry 2 Pi towers in storage also. They were a lot of fun.....I wish they weren't such a pretty cabinet now, they'd be fun out in the workshop!

With the inflated pricing on JBL 18's I'm considering a departure from the pro sound low end. I may sell off the 4 2226's and do a sealed quad of Peerless XXLS 12's per side powered by a big Crown. In room response strong into the low teens. I've never heard anything like that! Just thinkin' out loud....

Don't feel bad about the pricing on the 2245's, I bought a pair of 2242's and I might get a chance to eat again next year.

They listed at $850.00 each new!
