Colin Hester is a little like ART's very own Santa Claus. He has donated several wonderful prizes for AudioRoundtable.com to give away. Thanks to his latest gift, the lucky person making the 65,000th post will receive a Virtual Dynamics Testament Series 2.0 power cable.
Thanks Colin!! [message #4682 is a reply to message #4681] Sat, 02 February 2008 15:26 Go to previous messageGo to next message

I've spent nearly 19 years on internet audio forums, going way back to the telnet days. I've posted on 100s of different audio news forums/groups/web pages - I've seen it all, and a lot of it isn't pretty. But when it comes right down to it, AudioRoundTable stands out. I've learned so much from the members, from relearning the basics to scratch building a preamp with others from around the country. I've been lucky enough to meet a couple of 'philes in Ohio that have since become lifelong friends, all because of this site.

Someday I'd like to meet Wayne in person and shake his hand, just to say "Thank you." Until then, this is just my way of paying this community back for all it's given me......C

Colin,

I have been fotunate enough to meet Wayne who lives close by. And I have to say the same about him and his forum. He is a stand up guy, one who focuses more on the true meaning of relationships.

Thanks Wayne for all that you do for our audio community, and others.

Definitely ditto Norris's sentiments. Although I've only met Wayne a handful of times, I definitely consider him a friend.

Thanks Wayne for everything you do!!!!!
