I hope to send some business your way soon (Martinelli took all my money a while back), and I have been browsing your recently updated web site. It is nice, and it answers some of the questions I had.

A pair of BMS 4592's.

My original plans were to put 2226's into Klipsch-style cornerhorns and cross them over to the BMS's at 600 Hz.

I have changed my mind and decided to try a Pi-Seven 18", crossed over at 800Hz instead. That is why I was looking at the revised web site. I need to decide which woofers to use. My first inclination was a 2241, but I wonder if a 2242 would be better? Or, am I wasting my money - should I use an Omega 18A? It will be for a music and home theater system in my living room, driven by a 200wpc Adcom.

I'd go with the JBL's, especially if you run them up high. The Omega's are nice, really nice, but not like the JBL's. Another solution is to go with Eminence Magnums, which are excellent products too and cost much less. They have symmetrical flux stabilized motors, just like the JBL's. That's what makes the difference.
