It's awesome when he comes, always bringing me sweet stuff...

Here's my brand new, custom-built Ti Pro from TC Sounds... Quad stacked magnet (over the standard triple stacked), and a few other modifications I can't discuss... Very fun!!! Only one in existance that I know of.

Picture of removable/replacable cone/basket assembly (for quick changeouts at competitions). Since they are designed to do this anyway, I didn't think I would be revealing any company secrets by showing a picture of this, kept it on an obscure angle anyway...

The voice coil is the size of a can of clam chowder. except much thicker...

pic of old one

Makes the old one look a little wimpy, eh?

That looks like the motor for a top-fuel dragster!

Cool stuff!

They have TV shows like

monster garage
monster house
american chopper
junkyard wars

I want to see "monster speaker" tv show.

Outrageous installs in the home or car.

/hehehe

Guess I missed an earlier thread... [message #41993 is a reply to message #41987] Mon, 21 July 2003 16:10 Go to previous messageGo to next message

Did you see Jesse tonight? They were showing a review of all the past projects. Cool!

American Chopper is cool too. And you're right - There should be a "Monster Sound." We should do that!!!

Cool! I've got my saw, solder, and glue ready. How about a bunch of guys building a speaker system that destroys a house, and then they ride off on choppers? I love it.
Cheers,
Steve

Brutal!

I had more of an image in my mind of making some really great looking custom installs. But crankin' bass horns will pull the drywall loose from the studs, exposing nail heads and chipping the paint. So I guess you could make some really great looking stuff and then tear the house down with it. Ha!

I'm afraid that $3000 dollar budget would go out the window in about two seconds for a high end stereo install... :D

Probably.

On a different but somewhat related topic - I wish you had seen Martinelli and Epstein give their presentation at MAF 2003.

Priceless
