Hello Wayne (and others)

I just moved and am setting up a new listening room. I have been considering corner horns but I have a question about the suitability of my room. Dimensions are about 19'X 12' X 7.5'. The floor is carpet over concrete but upon closer inspection, the wall are just panelling over studs (insulated with fiber glass) with a concrete wall behind that. Will this construction present problems with a corner horn ? Should I beef up the walls (couple layers of drywall?) or stick with coventional BR speakers?

You actually don't want walls that are rigid. I know that's counter-intuitive, but the fact is that rigid walls cause sharp room modes. Having some panel flex in the walls and insulation behind them helps damp the room, much like having built-in bass traps.
