As a relative newcomer to the subject, and being in the market for some horns, and having attended the "Chicago Horn Bash" (JMHO) I thought it was hard, if not impossible, to come to a conclusion because of the room and set-up. Very large and very dead room. The two smaller Consonance amps simply crapped out under the stress of it all. All I know for certain from the experience is that if I ever have a fully carpeted 45x22 listening room I'm not going with a 300b!
