Hi, I was wondering what speaker would work in my listening area.
I don't want to spend more than need, but don't want to undersize either. My living room is 20'x25' with 9' ceiling. My couch is about 12' from my current speakers. Thanks for any input,
John

I currently use a 80wpc ss Denon amp. I hope to soon be using a 300b 8wpc tube amp though. Thought this info might help with your suggestions.

I would consider one of these three systems:

Any of these systems will work very well with an 8 watt SET amp or an 80 watt solid-state amp.
