Hey Wayne,

I ordered two Peavey CH-3's yesterday for my first two speakers.

I'm just curious what the dimensions of these suckers are.

Thanks.

Adam

Dah I was guessing 90x40 but changed my mind at the last second lol.

Here's the pair constructed in rough. I'm gonna get to work on the bracing and finishing touches this weekend.

You were right about the enclosure volume, btw. I overcompensated by about 0.7 cuft after woofer, brace, horn and port displcement. Actually, it'll be more now because i guesstimated the horn displacement with a 15"x8" mouth. So some adjustments will definitely be made and there will definitely be a marked improvement with that and the foam!!!

lol... Yeah HOPEFULLY.

Actually, this second one sounds considerably better. In the first design, I didn't fasten the two reflectors of the horn to eachother because there was a slight misalignment. I was able to correct the problem in this second enclosure, so the two panels are securely fastened to eachother. It seems to have helped things. They are sounding a little better after a bit more listening.

And I actually *didn't* overcompensate with the additional enclosure, when I double checked it I made a major calculation error. After all displacement, a little polyfill and the internal volume should be right on target.

I'll keep ya updated!

Adam
