Which country would you say is producing the best audio equipment at the moment?

Is one country leading the field? Or does it just depend on the make?

I think it completely depnds on the design & model of the piece you are talking about.
Typically the USA & W. Germany/northern Europe produce teh most EXPENSIVe equipment...whether that translates to best is in the ears of the listener.

Good one, first on the UN list - but how about Austria and Australia, probably larger in this Hi-Fi field?
