It looks as though the Eminence Delta 15's would sit almost exactly 3/4" proud of the baffle. So I'm thinking of doubling the front baffle with the inner piece hole cutout at 13 7/8 and the outer the full 15". Attach the rims to the inner. That would have the delta's fronts flush or even 1/8 recessed with the outer piece. Any sonic considerations? Should I round-over the edges of the hole?
I haven't seen the CH-3's yet but assume I can do the same or just rabbet the outer piece. whaddyathink?

Flush baffle mounting is purely an aesthetic consideration. It is attractive, and in my opinion, whorthwhile. But it makes no difference acoustically.
