Has anyone heard or know of this receiver from Yamaha? I've heard it's an excellent product but can't just verify it. Is its price of $269.00 justifiable?

I really liked Yamaha receivers in the late seventies and early eighties. I realize that's no help at all in judging today's Yamaha gear but if they're as quality conscious now as they were then, then I'd say they must be good. I've stuck with two-channel amps and monoblocks so haven't tried this model. Please report back if you find out more.

I heard good things RX-V2700 A/V Receiver. It features a USB port for MP3 players and 10/100Mbps Ethernet for connecting to a network.$269 is a fair price but it would be great if it's still negotiable.

you can acutally find that same one on ebay for about 140 dollars or so. I wouldn't dare pay over 200 dollars for that.
