Yes, this is called amorphous metal, and it is very interesting. We were discussing it a while back for use as a radiating membrane in the thread called "Amorphous metal diaphragms." I thought it might work well for a compression driver to extend response without all the peaks from breakup resonance.

I don't believe that amorphous metal is all that great as far as conductivity goes. The lack of a crystalline lattice impedes the flow of current...
