I am restoring an old Silvertone 2X12 amp model# 1346 made in 1953. There are no schematics available. The only thing I know for sure about it is it is a 70 watt amp which used 2 UTAH speakers # V12L-7 and stamped 328314. Does anyone have any idea what ohm they were?

Measure the voice coil resistance. Advertised impedance will be about 25% higher. If the voice coil measures 6Ω or so, it's an 8Ω speaker. If the voice coil is around 12Ω, it's a 16Ω driver.

Thanks,....that would work if I had the speakers, but I don't. The information I had on the UTAH speakers came from a picture of this amplifiers back I found on the internet. I need to find replacement speakers for the restoration but have no idea what ohm speakers to replace them with.
