I realize it's not a strictly sound alone question, but I was wondering how long your handheld TVs lasted?

I got about seven years use from mine, and it was turned off and on pretty frequently as I used it as a monitor on film sets from time to time.

That's cool. Sometimes I think about getting one, but then other priorities get in the way. Good to know they're pretty reliable though. Thanks for the heads-up.

Oh lets not talk about the handheld tvs. Verizon now has a phone that is a tv as well and you can watch freakin cable channels on it. Technology is getting ridiculous isn't it.

That's funny, because when I used mine a guy I worked with said I should get cable for it, as a joke.

I used it when I worked on film sets. If the camera was transmitting, you could tune to that frequency and watch the shot. It was helpful.

I think if your handheld one lasted for seven years that was pretty good.

I never thought that a handheld t.v had a life span on it. I have had mine for about 6 years and don't have any intentions on having to buy another one unless my son breaks it.

My hand held tv lasting 3 years so far. It was well worth the buy. I never let my children touch my handheld.
