Perhaps English is not your native language, as from your post I'm not sure what you are asking.

My preference is for a standard 3 way. I use a cross at 165 and 2500 with electronic 24 db/octave L-R.

If you want to see the system go to here: http://pub48.bravenet.com/photocenter/album.php?usernum=4095425731&album=48032

Others tend to prefer systems with ribbon or planar tweeters and larger woofers, that cross at 1600, and use a subwoofer for the bass, crossed at 60-80hz.

Could you be more specific in your question?

Hy. thanks english is not my native tongue but I try to comunicate .I want to mimic a line array as the pipe dreams with 24 mid-bass drivers and 42 dome tweeters and separate bass bins.To my surprise I found that the non cost object line array systems use dome tweeters instead of ribon units instance the afore mentioned pipe dreams and Mc intosh line arrays also the ephifany .the route regarding the X-over will be active 3 way Im looking for a Benhringer digital unity .I will post photos when the system become assambled at moment only have the towers with the tweeters .Again thanks for you reply .

If you email me at calipso@epix.net, I can share more information than I can do here. My line array is closer to the Pipe Dreams model than to some of the others.

early Pipedreams used round planar drivers. Then Pioneer horn loaded ribbons were used. Finally the domes were used though they are custom and can't be used as singles. All worked very well and many of the chages were for practical as well as sonic reasons. The new Scaena speakers use planar tweeters and were designed by many of the Pipedreams designers. The use of many drivers to reduce the effort of any single driver is the affect that was desired.

I'm mystified. Dummy as per what. At least be specific. As for my history it's correct. I know the designers very well on a personal basis. I know the history. Single words calling people names mean nothing.
