Yup. Another posting about my Goodmans. After searching for a couple of weeks and still not finding anything on these speakers, I decided to measure them myself. The resulting measurements are below:

Driv1 Drive2
Re 11.6 13.7
Fs 55 67
Qms 6.90 5.40
Qes 0.54 0.59
Qts 0.50 0.52
Vas 1.66 1.022

Obviously, I don't have a match pair. But despite the large difference between the two drivers, what I found surprising was they both model very simpilar response in the same enclosures and tuning.

A rule of thumb for these drivers have been 3000cc enclosure with 28 sq in, 6" len port. Modeling the above specs in this enclosure gives about a 4dB hump at 100Hz and a -3dB at 50Hz.

Gar.

HI Gar,
These look somewhat similar to my trusonics 80Fr. THose have alower Fz (40 Hz) and a slight;y lower Qts (about .44).

I'd put the goodmans in a box tuned to about 60 Hz, and then cross them at 90 Hz with an active sub. I'm sure you've already considered that option.
